Artemis Faux Leather is a marine-grade synthetic leather suitable for upholstering furniture on boats, hospital furniture, and outdoor furniture. Thanks to its high resistance to water, moisture, sea salt, sunlight, and chlorinated water, Artemis faux leather is also suitable for furniture used in hotels, restaurants, cafés, and other hospitality environments.
To extend the lifespan of the faux leather, we recommend cleaning stains immediately after they occur. This helps prevent dirt build-up, contamination, and the formation of stubborn stains.
• Do not use pointed or sharp objects, abrasive sponges, or wire brushes when cleaning Artemis faux leather.
• Furniture upholstered with Artemis faux leather should be kept away from chemicals such as perfumes, medical-grade benzine, colognes, essential massage oils, deodorants, hairsprays, and similar products.
• Do not leave ballpoint pen or marker stains on the faux leather, as the ink may be absorbed and cause permanent staining.
• If the faux leather needs to be disinfected after contact with urine, blood, or faeces, it can be disinfected as follows:
a) Clean the faux leather with a white cloth and a solution prepared in a 1:15 ratio (disinfectant: water).
b) Rinse the faux leather with water and wipe it with a dry cloth.
c) Allow the faux leather to dry completely before using it again.
*Never use cleaning products containing bleach, wax, alcohol, chlorine, silicone, strong detergents, or cleaning products that are not pH-neutral.
